CORSOL® Outperforms BOTH Powder Coating and galvanizing in Ford Proving Ground Testing
PRP Industries entered into a corrosion test study performed at the Ford Motor Company Proving Grounds. One half of a bumper was entirely treated utilizing Corsol® Metal Treatment System. The left 1/3rd was top coated with PRP Urethane, the right 1/3rd was top coated with a PRP Acrylic Clear Coat and the middle 1/3rd was left as CORSOL® ONLY.
After approximately 2 years of testing which is the equivalent to 15 years of actual road conditions in NE United States, the PRP Bumper Section dramatically outperforms both painted galvanizing and powder coating as seen below.
