Benson Designs finds unique use for Corsol on Ornamental and Architectural Iron Work

Benson Designs of Green Bay, Wisconsin has started using Corsol™ on some of its ornamental and architectural iron work. Originally developed for industrial application, Corsol™ has been chosen due to its durability, satin finish, and corrosion resistance. Phil Pierce, President of PRP Industries says, "Benson's work is another example of the versatility of this exciting product, it's great to see something that we have created used to preserve the beauty of Benson’s work."

Company History
Jeff Benson, owner of Benson Designs LLC, started building in the Green Bay, Wisconsin, area in 1984. He installed solar heating systems, remodeled homes and built new homes. He recognized there was a real need for more beauty in structures, and focused on functional art in the 1990's. His passion for blacksmithing emerged in 1996. Knowing all the different phases of construction helps Jeff anticipate what will happen in a new design. He comfortably works with other trades on complex projects with his greatest pleasure coming from custom work. He listens carefully to clients, researches styles and comes up with insightful, bold designs. He naturally combines different media, like metal and wood, constantly experimenting with new techniques to achieve unforgettable results.
